Freely invented ornaments that evoke deliberate associations with marine animals and plants form the shapes of the approximately five metre high relief, which once - until 1980 - adorned a sanatorium in Wyk on the island of Föhr. After it had to be removed due to renovations, it found a new home on the fassade of the Kunsthalle zu Kiel in 1988.
