Scuba divers experience underwater ecosystems while practising their hobby, not only admiring the beauty and diversity of ‘classic’ organisms, but also observing organisms known as neo-biota that have arrived in the Baltic Sea from other seas.
These organisms are also the subject of Marie Griesmar's work. The Science and Environment Department of the Schleswig-Holstein Diving Association invites all divers to visit the exhibition together and follow the artist's instructions. For interested non-divers, diving instructor and biologist Micha Baum will be available to answer questions after the dive.
