Pictures of the reconnection trail walk: Art is for everyone!
Sat, Oct 26, 2024, 11 AM – 1 PM
As part of the Kiel Weekend for Art and Science on 26 October, you are invited to discover the art and nature trail with the team from (re)connecting.earth and participating cultural and environmental actors. The walk starts at 11:00 am at the Zoological Museum. This creative walk offers the opportunity to try out suggested activities by artists (art instructions) and to solve the puzzles at the various stations in small groups. This weekend in particular, only 10 correct answers, not 21, are required to receive a free art poster designed exclusively for this Biennale! The walk leads from the Zoological Museum to the City Gallery and offers exciting opportunities along the way. For the most creative among you, there will be an opportunity to transform yourself into an insect - Mia Fyu, Austrian artist and playwright, will guide the process. Bernard Vienat, curator of the (re)connecting.earth biennial, will also take part in the walk, solve some puzzles and present selected art instructions before going on to talk about works in the Stadtgalerie Kiel.
Because art is not just for artists, it's for everyone!
In case of bad weather, the event will take place in the foyer of Stadtgalerie Kiel.
Mia Fyu is an Austrian artist and playwright who uses speculative fiction and feminist narratives in theatre, film and spatial practices to reconfigure the social body. Her work spans various media: from immersive theatre pieces and site-specific performances to interactive exhibitions, filmic essays and analogue narratives in the form of illustrations, poetry and texts.
As part of the ‘Kiel Weekend for Art and Science’.
The Biennale Pass is required for this event. If you have already purchased it, please bring it with you. It is also available on site for a donation.
