Stadtgalerie
The Stadtgalerie Kiel, which was founded in 1988 and extends over 1500 m² with its foyer, serves as the exhibition centre for the Kiel Biennale reconnecting.earth edition by expanding the theme ‘Beyond Water’. Through video installations, sculptures, plants and sound creations, the exhibition offers an immersive experience that connects the world on land with the world in the water. The gallery's forum will become a meeting place and event centre, promoting exchange between those committed to biodiversity and ecological art practices. Here you can also purchase a Biennale Pass / Reconnection Certificate, which gives you free access to workshops and the Zoological Museum. You can also receive a poster with instructions from artists via the Reconnection certificate included in the pass, once you have solved the puzzles printed on the instruction posters.
