At the end of the Biennale programme, we invite you to the Luna Club from 10 pm. The DJ duo gaara and d.n.a. will provide the music. Here you can talk to all those involved in the project, such as the curator Bernard Vienat or exhibiting artists. From midnight, the Afro Yard event will also take place on the lower floor. Afro Yard is a project that celebrates African culture in the diaspora. It combines various subcultural influences from music and culture with live events in northern Germany.
To celebrate the successful conclusion of the exhibition of the nomadic biennial (re)connecting.earth in Kiel's public space, we invite the Kiel audience to dance, chat and exchange ideas - not only to engage with nature, but also with other people who also want to make a difference for the environment and the future of nature in the city.
Since 2000, LUNA has been one of the top club addresses in northern Germany for all night owls who value music and culture beyond the mainstream. Fridays are characterised by electronic dance music from the underground: whether disco, house or techno in all its facets. Saturdays, on the other hand, are aimed at fans of rap, reggae, soul, funk, trap and world music as well as other bass-heavy club music. Even if it is difficult to make out a connection at first glance, the composition of the programme pays tribute to the shared history of each of these musical genres. Weekend after weekend, the resident DJs, together with international bookings, create a spirit that is otherwise only known from metropolises. The result is a unique programme full of subculture and a respectful and tolerant togetherness in an infamiliar club atmosphere.
