Pictures of the exhibition by Muthesius students - Nature Awareness
sam., 14 sept. – dim., 13 oct. 2024
The aim of the Nature Awareness exhibition is to redefine our relationship with nature through art and design. 11 artists will strengthen their connection to the earth through poster art and artistic works in public spaces. The exhibition offers insights into theoretical and artistic practices that rethink the role of nature and encourages its further development.
The overall concept is based on instructions that encourage the viewer to become active and realise the demands expressed in the works through image and text. The process can be seen as a form of conceptual performance with installation. Through these instructions, visitors are encouraged to actively participate in the artistic action and experience themselves as part of the exhibition. The boundaries of the exhibition space are overcome and visitors are directly involved in the artists' research work. These interactions are made visible through posters, programmes, workshops, performances and online activities.
