Since 2000, LUNA has been one of the top club addresses in northern Germany for all night owls who value music and culture beyond the mainstream. Fridays are characterised by electronic dance music from the underground: whether disco, house or techno in all its facets. Saturdays, on the other hand, are aimed at fans of rap, reggae, soul, funk, trap and world music as well as other bass-heavy club music. Even if it is difficult to make out a connection at first glance, the composition of the programme pays tribute to the shared history of each of these musical genres. Weekend after weekend, the resident DJs, together with inter/national bookings, create a spirit that is otherwise only known from metropolises. The result is a unique programme full of subculture and a respectful and tolerant togetherness in an infamiliar club atmosphere.
